Accor and Microsoft partner
for hybrid meeting concept

Accor Hotels have partnered with Microsoft to launch a new hybrid meeting concept in April 2021 which will be powered by Microsoft Teams.

The scheme called ‘All Connect’ will allow corporate clients and event planners to combine “physical in-hotel meetings with virtual interactions across multiple locations.” All Connect will primarily focus on smaller business meetings of eight to 50 attendees.

The hybrid meetings will take place on Microsoft Teams in dedicated meeting spaces within the hotel. Microsoft Teams Rooms and Surface Hub 2S will enable participants to connect on-site participants with virtual ones using ‘industry leading audio and video experiences.’ There will be expert teams on hand providing help and support and clients will also benefit from a range of bespoke experiences and programmes. The scheme will also closely follow Accor’s ‘All Safe’ safety and sanitary protocols.

Currently 55% of Accor hotels offer hybrid meeting solutions to business clients, however the hotel group aim to increase this to 100% of its hotels globally by 2022. Following a research study by Accor, seven out of ten respondents think that hybrid meetings will be an important service in the future.
