Emirates has reopened its first-class lounge within Concourse B at Dubai International Airport to “serve the growing volume of premium customers travelling from and through the Emirate’s hub”.
The business-class lounge has remained open since July 2020, however the first-class lounge was closed for a year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The reopening of the lounge will see the return of all the usual first-class services including shoeshine services, complimentary facial massages and a choice of four champagne vintages at the Moet and Chandon Bar.
Emirates have also announced that a new and exciting dining menu has been introduced “reflecting the latest food trends and customer feedback.” The 55 item menu includes dishes such as foie gras terrine, Black Angus tenderloin, braised beef short ribs, a wagyu burger and a range of gluten-free and vegan options.
The airline has also been reopening its other lounges across the globe in key locations including Boston, Cairo, Dubai, Los Angeles, Manchester, Milan and New York JFK. Once Terminal 3 at London Heathrow reopens, the Emirates lounge will also reopen.
