London Luton is the latest UK airport to introduce a Covid-19 testing centre; a drive-through screening facility.
In partnership with Collinson International Ltd, the new testing centre is located in the airport’s mid-stay car park. There will be a variety of paid-for tests available including LAMP, RT-PCR, antigen and antibody screening. The facility is the newest venture by Collinson who also operate testing centres at London Heathrow, London City, London Stansted and East Midlands airport.
A spokesperson for the airport said the new facility would “meet the differing needs of governments worldwide and enable those arriving in the UK to participate the UK Government’s ‘Test to Release for International Travel’ scheme”.
Other global airports to recently open Covid-19 testing facilities include Zurich, LAX and Mumbai – with the latter two being rapid testing centres.
