The United Arab Emirates has resumed issuing visas to all travellers who are fully vaccinated from COVID-19 with a WHO-approved vaccine.
The latest travel decision applies to all citizens of all countries, including those travelling from previously banned destinations. The move comes as part of the UAE’s wider strategy to ‘achieve sustainable recovery and economic growth’.
Tourist visas reopened on 30th August and passengers must take a rapid PCR test on arrival at the airport. Travellers must also register their vaccination status on the government’s health app before arriving.
The previous rules for unvaccinated travellers remain in place for the time being.
