Air travel in and out of some of Germany’s major cities will face significant disruption on Friday (17 February) due to a one-day strike, called by trade union Ver.di. The strike will see the airports in the major cities of Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Dortmund, Hanover and Bremen all brought to a standstill from the early hours of Friday morning until the evening.
Ver.di is ensuring that, despite the disruption, aid deliveries to Turkey and Syria in the wake of the deadly earthquakes will be excluded from the strike action.
If you have made a booking with us that is affected, we will make every effort to keep you fully informed, we also strongly recommend that you remain proactive and check with the appropriate airline for the very latest information, should you have any immediate concerns please do not hesitate to contact the CT Business Travel Team during office hours on
