TESTING AND ISOLATION REQUIREMENTS TO CHANGE FOR ALL UK ARRIVALS FROM 30TH NOVEMBER

From 4am on Tuesday 30th November testing and isolation requirements will change for all arrivals entering the UK.

All passengers arriving to the UK must take a Day 2 PCR test and self-isolate until they receive a negative result. Lateral flow tests will no longer be accepted and tests must be booked in advance. This applies to vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers.

Before you travel to England, fully vaccinated travellers must:

- Book and pay for a COVID-19 test – to be taken before or by the end of Day 2 in England (the day you arrive is Day 0). From 4am on 30th November, this must be a PCR test. You must book the test through a private provider, you cannot use an NHS test.

- Self-isolate at home or the place you are staying until you receive your test result. You can also choose to get tested when you arrive at the airport.

- Complete a Passenger Locator Form – to be completed within 48 hours before you arrive to England. You will need to enter your COVID-19 test booking reference number on your passenger locator form.

Before you travel to England, unvaccinated travellers must:

- Take a COVID-19 test – to be taken in-country in the 3 days before you travel to England.

- Book and pay for COVID-19 tests for Day 2 and Day 8 in England. You must take the first test on or before Day 2 and the second test on or after Day 8. The day you arrive is day 0. From 4am on 30th November, this must be a PCR test. You must book the test through a private provider, you cannot use an NHS test.

- Self-isolate at home or the place you are staying for 10 full days.

- Complete a Passenger Locator Form – to be completed within 48 hours before you arrive to England. You will need to enter your COVID-19 test booking reference number on your passenger locator form.

In addition, if you are arriving to the UK after 4am on Tuesday 30th November it is advised to complete your Passenger Locator Form after 4am on Monday 29th November as the system is currently being updated.

If you arriving to the UK before 4am on Tuesday 30th November, continue to complete your Passenger Locator Form now.
